BOOK EXHIBITS GALLERY DescriptionsBook Title -- Where there is a conflict between the title stated on a book's front cover, its binding, and/or an internal title page, usually the binding title is used. For series books, the individual book title is used rather than the series title. Books having identical titles, are organized by publication date - earliest first. Unusual Terms -- "accordian bound" = pages are folded back and forth (as in the letter "w") and are not connected to the cover's spine; the first and last page is adherred to the front and back cover, respectively. Size -- Measured from the binding edge to the opposite edge, followed by the opposite dimension. "Landscape" indicates the top edge of the cover image is parallel to the binding edge. The number of pages includes the inside faces of the cover. P&MB -- Location of the book's description in Ann R. Montanaro's books: "Pop-Up And Movable Books - A Bibliography" and "Pop-Up And Movable Books - A Bibliography, Supplement I, 1991-1997". The format is P&MB: (V) P-I, where: P&MB is my short abbreviation for the "Pop-Up And Movable Books..." volumes, V is "1" or "2" and refers to Ann R. Montanaro's first volume or Supplement I, respectively, P is the page number where the book is described, and I is the book's description position (1,2,3, etc.) on that page. For example, P&MB: (1) 79-7 refers to Ann R. Montanaro's first volume, page 79, seventh item.
